Introduction of State Key Laboratory for utilization of silica sand resources
The "State Key Laboratory for silica sand resource utilization" is supported by Beijing Renchuang Technology Group Co., Ltd. established in 2007, it is one of the first batch of state key laboratories of 36 enterprises in China. It passed the acceptance of the Ministry of science and technology in 2012 and was rated as a good State Key Laboratory by the Ministry of science and technology in 2018. Taking desert aeolian sand as the research object, focusing on the research on the basic theory of silica sand, the bonding technology of silica sand and the application technology of silica sand, the laboratory mainly carried out the research on seven application fields represented by "precision casting with sand, increasing oil with sand, prospering water with sand, prospering agriculture with sand, building with sand, controlling sand with sand and creating art with sand".
In front of the laboratory, there are 111 scientific research teams, including 16 with senior professional titles, 32 with master's and doctor's degrees and 4 academicians. In addition to Miyun laboratory headquarters, several laboratory sub centers have been built in Zhenglanqi, Naiman, Gui'an, Hefei, Nanjing and other places, with a total construction area of more than 13000 square meters. 25 scientific research laboratories have been established, including silica sand resource utilization database, microstructure laboratory, material structure experiment, rain pollution laboratory, water quality analysis laboratory, soil analysis laboratory, proppant evaluation laboratory, double diversion laboratory, precision casting material laboratory and sand plastic technology research laboratory.
Since the establishment of the State Key Laboratory for utilization of silica sand resources, it has completed the research work in 9 aspects of application basic research, such as silica sand resource database and multiphase selective infiltration technology. The research results have been popularized and applied in 7 fields, such as promoting water with sand and agriculture with sand, and significant progress has been made. It has undertaken 5 national science and technology plan projects, 1 national major special project, 2 973 projects of the Ministry of science and technology, 8 other provincial and ministerial scientific research, and LED (or participated in) the development and drafting of 41 standards.
